Description

This market refers to the LoL match between DetonatioN FocusMe and MVK Esports in the LCP Regular Season, initially scheduled for April 18 at 7:30AM ET. This market will resolve to "DetonatioN FocusMe" if DetonatioN FocusMe win the match against MVK Esports. This market will resolve to "MVK Esports" if MVK Esports win the match against DetonatioN FocusMe. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both Polymarket and Kalshi apply identical resolution logic: markets resolve based on official gol.gg results within 2 hours, with fallback to credible reporting including video evidence; all game-specific markets depend on whether games are actually played, with 50-50 resolution for cancellations, delays beyond 7 days, forfeits, or series clinches that prevent game play.

Primary resolution logic:

Official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home, with fallback to consensus of credible reporting and video evidence if gol.gg has not published final results within 2 hours after event conclusion.

Core resolution logic:

  • Series winner (DetonatioN FocusMe vs MVK Esports) resolves to the team that wins the best-of-3 match; if match is canceled, delayed beyond 7 days without play, or ends in forfeit/disqualification before completion, resolves 50-50.
  • Individual game winners (Game 1, Game 2, Game 3) resolve based on the team that wins that specific game; if the game is not played due to series clinch, forfeit, or match cancellation, resolves 50-50.
  • Game-specific objective markets (inhibitors, dragons, baron, kills, multi-kills, first blood, odd/even kills) resolve based on in-game statistics if the game is completed; if the game is not played or canceled, resolves 50-50; if game begins but does not complete via surrender, resolution is based on statistics prior to stoppage.
  • Games Total (Over/Under 2.5) resolves Over if 3 or more games are played, Under if fewer than 3 games are played; forfeits and walkovers count as completed games; if match is canceled, delayed beyond 7 days, or incomplete with no winner determined, resolves 50-50.
  • Game Handicap (MVK -1.5 vs DetonatioN +1.5) resolves to MVK if MVK wins 2 or more games than DetonatioN, otherwise resolves to DetonatioN; forfeits and walkovers count; if match is canceled, delayed beyond 7 days, or incomplete with no winner determined, resolves 50-50.
  • Exactly one series outcome (DetonatioN or MVK) will resolve YES on Kalshi; the corresponding Polymarket series winner market will resolve to that team.

Edge cases & Clarifications:

  • Series Clinch Before Game Completion: If one team clinches the series before a scheduled game is played (e.g., wins 2-0 before Game 3), that unplayed game's markets resolve 50-50. The series winner and Games Total markets resolve based on the actual number of games completed.
  • Game Begins But Does Not Complete: If a game begins but ends via surrender or technical issue before completion, objective markets (inhibitors, dragons, baron, kills) resolve based on statistics recorded prior to stoppage. If no objective was achieved, the market resolves No (or 50-50 for first blood if it did not occur).
  • Match Delay Beyond 7 Days: If the match is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date (April 18, 2026) without play beginning, all markets resolve 50-50.
  • Forfeit or Walkover Before Series Completion: If a team forfeits or walks over before the series begins, all markets resolve 50-50. If a team forfeits after the series has begun (e.g., after Game 1), the series winner resolves to the non-forfeiting team, but Games Total and game-specific markets depend on how many games were actually played.
  • Game Remake: If a game is remade, all resolution is based on the remade game only. For first blood, if first blood occurred in the original game before the remake was called, that original first blood stands; otherwise, resolution is based on the remade game.

Timing:

Resolution occurs upon official publication of results on gol.gg within 2 hours after the event's conclusion. If gol.gg does not publish within 2 hours, resolution is based on consensus of credible reporting and video evidence. Series winner and Games Total markets resolve after the series concludes (when one team reaches 2 wins or the series is abandoned). Individual game markets resolve immediately after that game concludes.
