This market refers to the LoL match between DK and C9 in the SOOP Cross Region Invitational, initially scheduled for June 27 at 8:00 AM ET. This market will resolve to "DK" if Dplus KIA win the match against Cloud9. This market will resolve to "C9" if Cloud9 win the match against Dplus KIA. If the match is canceled, ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or withdrawal, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or withdrawal, this market will resolve in favor of the opposing team. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://lol.fandom.com/wiki/2026_Cross_Regional. However, if https://lol.fandom.com/wiki/2026_Cross_Regional has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like this one are driven purely by trader belief—there is no house edge or margin built in. This market aggregates the collective judgment of many independent traders wagering real capital, which can sometimes price outcomes differently than bookmakers who adjust for liability and public betting patterns.
On Polymarket, traders set the odds through an automated market maker that adjusts prices based on buy and sell volume. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome share reflects the current probability implied by the order flow—as more capital flows toward one team, that outcome's price rises and its implied win chance increases. This continuous repricing mechanism ensures the market stays responsive to new information and trader sentiment throughout the event window.
This market resolves around Jun 27, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The winning team will be determined by the official match result, and resolution occurs after the game concludes and the victor is established through authoritative League of Legends competition records. Traders should monitor the event schedule and official league announcements to stay informed ahead of the resolution window.
Key catalysts include roster announcements, recent team performance trends, and head-to-head historical records between the two organizations. Injury reports, coaching changes, or meta shifts in the current League of Legends patch could reshape expectations around team strength. Live scrimmage results, player interviews, and analyst predictions published closer to game day often trigger sharp price movements as traders incorporate fresh information. Pre-match commentary and betting action from professional esports observers may also signal shifting confidence in either team's chances.
