Description
This event group covers a League of Legends Best-of-5 match between BNK FEARX and Dplus KIA in the LCK Cup Playoffs, scheduled for February 28, 2026 at 3:00 AM ET. Markets span match winner, individual game winners, first blood by game, total kills by game, and game count handicaps across Kalshi and Polymarket platforms.
Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
All markets across both platforms use identical resolution source (gol.gg), identical 7-day delay threshold, identical 50-50 fallback for cancellations and incomplete games, and identical treatment of forfeits and remakes.
Primary resolution logic:
Official gol.gg/esports/home; credible reporting and video evidence if gol.gg does not publish within 2 hours of match conclusion.
Core resolution logic:
Match winner (BO5): Resolves to the team that wins 3 games first. If match is canceled, delayed beyond 7 days without play, or ends in forfeit/disqualification/walkover before play begins, resolves 50-50. If match begins but is not completed and one team wins due to opponent forfeiture/disqualification/walkover, resolves to the winning team.
Individual game winners: Resolve based on the team that wins that specific game. If the game is not completed, resolves 50-50. If remade, resolution is based on the remade game only.
First blood by game: Resolves to the team that secures first blood. If game is incomplete and first blood occurred, resolves to the team with first blood. If game is incomplete and first blood did not occur, resolves 50-50. If game is remade, resolves based on first blood prior to remake; if no first blood prior to remake, resolves based on remade game. If game is never played or completed without first blood, resolves 50-50.
Total kills by game: Resolves Over if kills meet or exceed the stated threshold (e.g., 32+ for 31.5 threshold). Resolves Under otherwise. If game is incomplete or never played, resolves 50-50. If remade, resolves based on remade game only.
Games total (series length): Resolves Over if 4+ games played (for 3.5 threshold) or 5+ games played (for 4.5 threshold). Resolves Under otherwise. Forfeits/disqualifications/walkovers count if match is completed. If match is canceled, delayed beyond 7 days, or abandoned mid-series, resolves 50-50.
Game handicap: Resolves based on game differential. BNK FEARX (-2.5) resolves to BNK FEARX if they win 3+ more games; otherwise Dplus KIA. DK (-2.5) resolves to Dplus KIA if they win 3+ more games; otherwise BNK FEARX. Similar logic for (-1.5) handicaps with 2+ game differential. Forfeits/disqualifications count if match is completed. If match is canceled, delayed beyond 7 days, or abandoned mid-series, resolves 50-50.
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Match Cancellation or Delay Beyond 7 Days: If the match is not played at all or is delayed more than 7 days from the scheduled date (Feb 28, 2026) without play beginning, all markets resolve 50-50.
Forfeit, Disqualification, or Walkover Before Play: If a team forfeits, is disqualified, or walks over before the match begins, the match winner market resolves 50-50. However, if the match begins and one team later forfeits/is disqualified, the other team wins the match.
Incomplete Game or Series: If a game begins but is not completed (e.g., technical issue, pause not resumed), that game resolves 50-50 unless a winner was already determined. If the series is abandoned mid-match (e.g., after 2 games), all remaining game-specific markets resolve 50-50, and series markets (match winner, games total, handicap) resolve 50-50.
Remade Game: If a game is remade (e.g., due to technical issue), all resolution is based on the remade game only. First blood prior to the remake is honored; if no first blood occurred before the remake, first blood resolves based on the remade game.
First Blood Never Occurs: If a game is completed but first blood never occurs (e.g., both teams avoid early skirmishes), the first blood market for that game resolves 50-50.
Timing:
Resolution occurs within 2 hours after the match conclusion (all games completed or series abandoned). If gol.gg does not publish by then, credible reporting and video evidence are used. The 7-day delay threshold is measured from the scheduled date of February 28, 2026 at 3:00 AM ET.
