This event group covers a best-of-three League of Legends match between Blue Otter and Cupid Esports in the North American Challengers League Group Stage, scheduled for July 23, 2026 at 5:00 PM ET. Markets span match winner, individual game winners, series length, handicap, and in-game objective outcomes (Baron, Dragon, Inhibitor, multi-kills, kill parity).
This market refers to the LoL match between Blue Otter and Cupid Esports in the North American Challengers League Group Stage, initially scheduled for July 23 at 5:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "Blue Otter" if Blue Otter win the match against Cupid Esports. This market will resolve to "Cupid Esports" if Cupid Esports win the match against Blue Otter. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.
Resolution depends on the match outcome as determined by the official league result. If the match is postponed and not completed within 48 hours of the originally scheduled start time (5:00 PM EDT, July 23, 2026), the market resolves to fair market price. If the match is cancelled before play begins or forfeited before any play occurs, the market resolves to fair market price. If the match begins and is subsequently forfeited, the market resolves according to the official result published by the governing body or tournament organizer.

Prediction markets and traditional sportsbooks price outcomes differently. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets are driven by supply and demand from independent traders. This market reflects consensus pricing from participants who profit or lose based on accuracy, creating incentives for informed positions. Prediction market odds often incorporate real-time information and can move faster than sportsbook lines, especially for niche events like regional esports matchups. Comparing this market's odds to major sportsbooks can reveal where the two communities diverge in their expectations.
Polymarket and Predict may show different odds on related outcomes due to variations in user base, liquidity depth, and fee structures. Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform attracts traders with different risk appetites and information sets, so prices can diverge until arbitrage opportunities narrow the gap. Timing also matters: one venue may react faster to breaking news or roster changes. Monitoring both platforms helps you spot pricing inefficiencies and understand which outcomes each community favors most strongly.
Key catalysts include roster announcements, player injuries or substitutions, recent team performance trends, and scrim results. Coaching changes or strategic shifts can also shift trader expectations. Pre-match interviews and analyst commentary often influence positioning in the final hours. In-game events—such as early kills, objective control, or momentum swings—will drive real-time repricing if live betting markets are active. Community sentiment on social media and esports forums can amplify moves, especially if unexpected upsets or dominant performances emerge during the series.
