PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue:

Polymarket and Kalshi diverge on the threshold for the Games Total market. Polymarket resolves Over/Under 2.5 (3+ games = Over), while Kalshi resolves Yes/No on over 2.5 maps (3+ maps = Yes). Both use the same source (gol.gg) and count forfeits/walkovers identically, but the market structure and phrasing differ slightly in how they present the same underlying condition.

Hero Tip:

If you trade the Games Total market, note that Polymarket's Over and Kalshi's Yes represent the same outcome (3+ games played). Ensure your position accounts for this semantic equivalence across platforms. The resolution logic is functionally identical, but the market labels differ.

Critical Divergence Points:

  • Polymarket: Aligned with Kalshi: Both resolve based on total games/maps played in the series. Polymarket frames this as Over/Under 2.5, resolving to Over if 3 or more games are played. Key quote: 'This market will resolve to Over if Berlin International Gaming and Karmine Corp Blue play 3 or more games in this series.'
  • Kalshi: Aligned with Polymarket: Both resolve based on total games/maps played in the series. Kalshi frames this as Yes/No, resolving to Yes if over 2.5 maps are played (i.e., 3 or more). Key quote: 'If over 2.5 maps are played in the EMEA Masters 2026: Karmine Corp Blue vs. Berlin International Gaming League of Legends match originally scheduled for Mar 23, 2026, then the market resolves to Yes.'
