Description

This market refers to the LoL match between Barcząca Esports and Lodis in the Rift Legends Regular Season, initially scheduled for April 15 at 1:30PM ET. This market will resolve to "Barcząca Esports" if Barcząca Esports win the match against Lodis. This market will resolve to "Lodis" if Lodis win the match against Barcząca Esports. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue: Polymarket and Kalshi diverge fundamentally on market scope and resolution logic. Polymarket defines 20 distinct markets covering individual games, series outcomes, and specific in-game events (kills, objectives), while Kalshi defines only 1 market with ambiguous resolution criteria that does not clearly map to any Polymarket market. Kalshi's market text is incomplete and logically contradictory, making it unresolvable as written.Hero tip: Do not trade across these platforms assuming equivalent outcomes. Polymarket offers granular, well-defined markets (Game 1 Winner, Both Teams Slay Dragon, etc.) with explicit resolution sources (gol.gg). Kalshi's single market is vague—it states 'If Lodis wins...then resolves to Yes' AND 'If Orzel Barczaca Esports wins...then resolves to Yes,' which means the market resolves YES regardless of outcome. This is a critical data integrity failure. Clarify Kalshi's intent before trading.

Critical divergence points:

  • Polymarket: Aligned with itself across 20 distinct markets: Polymarket partitions the event into series-level markets (Match Winner, Games Total O/U 2.5, Game Handicap), game-level markets (Game 1/2/3 Winner), and in-game event markets (Both Teams Slay Dragon, Any Player Quadra Kill, Odd/Even Total Kills, etc.). Each market has explicit resolution criteria, a primary source (gol.gg/esports/home), and detailed edge-case handling (forfeit, remake, surrender, delay >7 days). Example: 'Game 1: Both Teams Slay a Dragon? resolves YES if both teams each slay at least one elemental dragon during Game 1; resolves NO if either team does not; resolves 50-50 if Game 1 is not played or delayed >7 days.'
  • Kalshi: Outlier: Kalshi defines a single market with logically contradictory resolution criteria. The market states: 'If Lodis wins the Rift Legends 2026: Lodis vs. Orzel Barczaca Esports League of Legends match originally scheduled for Apr 15, 2026 at 1:30 PM EDT, then the market resolves to Yes. If Orzel Barczaca Esports wins the Rift Legends 2026: Lodis vs. Orzel Barczaca Esports League of Legends match originally scheduled for Apr 15, 2026 at 1:30 PM EDT, then the market resolves to Yes.' This means the market resolves YES for both possible outcomes (Lodis win OR Orzel Barczaca Esports win), which is logically impossible. Additionally, Kalshi's team name 'Orzel Barczaca Esports' does not match Polymarket's 'Barcząca Esports,' creating ambiguity about whether these refer to the same entity. No resolution source, edge-case handling, or tie-breaking logic is provided.
Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms.
