This market tracks the total number of games in the best-of-three League of Legends match between Anyone's Legend and Bilibili Gaming in the LPL Group Ascend. The current aggregated consensus probability for the outcome "Games Total: O/U 2.5" is 100%. Data is aggregated from Polymarket and Predict, with resolution based on official gol.gg/esports/home. Watch for the match conclusion on July 26, 2024 at 7:00 AM ET to confirm the final game count.
This market refers to the LoL match between Anyone's Legend and Bilibili Gaming in the LPL Group Ascend, initially scheduled for July 26 at 7:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Anyone's Legend" if Anyone's Legend win the match against Bilibili Gaming. This market will resolve to "Bilibili Gaming" if Bilibili Gaming win the match against Anyone's Legend. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction markets and traditional sportsbooks price events differently. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets aggregate trader beliefs through continuous order-book pricing. This market reflects real-time consensus from thousands of independent traders rather than a single operator's margin. Prediction market odds often move faster in response to breaking news or team roster changes, and they tend to be more efficient at incorporating public information. However, sportsbook odds may offer better liquidity on certain outcomes. Comparing both can reveal where market sentiment diverges from professional oddsmakers.
Polymarket and Predict may price this market differently due to variations in their user bases, liquidity depth, and trading incentives. Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform attracts traders with distinct risk tolerances and information sets, so prices can diverge temporarily before converging. Differences in market depth, fee structures, and the timing of large trades can also create short-term spreads. Arbitrage traders typically exploit these gaps, but friction costs and platform-specific rules mean small price discrepancies often persist. Monitoring both venues helps you identify which outcomes are truly consensus versus platform-specific sentiment.
Several catalysts could shift prices before this market resolves. Roster changes or player substitutions announced by either team would likely trigger sharp moves. Recent scrim results, patch updates to League of Legends, or meta shifts in the professional scene can reshape expectations. Head-to-head records and recent tournament performance by both squads will influence trader positioning. Injury news or visa delays affecting key players could swing odds significantly. Media narratives and expert predictions from prominent esports analysts often correlate with volume spikes. Watch for official LPL statements, team social media, and community sentiment on platforms like Reddit and Twitter—these often precede measurable price movement.
