This prediction group covers the League of Legends match between Anubis Gaming and Pyramid IV Esports in the Arabian League Playoffs. Markets exist for the overall match winner, individual game winners, and various in-game events like Baron Nashor kills and inhibitor destructions.
This market refers to the LoL Upper bracket semifinal 1 match between Anubis Gaming and Pyramid IV Esports in the Arabian League Playoffs, initially scheduled for September 13, 2026 at 9:00 AM ET. This market will resolve to "Anubis Gaming" if Anubis Gaming win the match against Pyramid IV Esports. This market will resolve to "Pyramid IV Esports" if Pyramid IV Esports win the match against Anubis Gaming. If the match is canceled (not played at all) or ends in a tie, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match is postponed, it must be rescheduled to a start time on or before September 27, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET (14 calendar days after the originally scheduled start of September 13, 2026 at 9:00 AM ET). If, by that deadline, the most recently announced rescheduled start time is on or before the deadline, this market resolves based on the result of the match as played. Otherwise, this market resolves 50-50, regardless of whether the match is subsequently played. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.
The market resolves to Yes if the specified team wins the Arabian League 2026 match originally scheduled for Sep 13, 2026 at 12:00 PM EDT. If the match is postponed and not started within 48 hours of the original time, or if it is cancelled or forfeited before play begins, the market resolves to the fair market price. If the match begins and is later forfeited, the market resolves according to the official result published by the governing body or tournament organizer. Prediction market odds, like those found on Polymarket and Predict, often reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd perspective, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and incorporate a profit margin, while prediction markets are driven by the collective insight of traders who have skin in the game. This can lead to prediction market prices being more accurate, especially when significant information isn't yet publicly available. However, sportsbook odds benefit from established infrastructure and large limits, while this market’s volume is currently $5,522.
Prices on Polymarket and Predict may diverge due to differing user bases, trading activity, and market-specific dynamics. Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform attracts traders with varying levels of expertise and access to information, leading to different interpretations of the likely outcome. Furthermore, the liquidity and volume on each platform can influence price discovery. Currently, Polymarket currently favors Game 1: Any Player Quadra Kill? at 98, while Predict leans toward LoL: Anubis Gaming vs Pyramid IV Esports (BO3) - Arabian League Playoffs. These discrepancies are normal and reflect the independent price formation processes on each platform.
Several signals could significantly impact this market before resolution. Any news regarding player form, team strategies, or unexpected roster changes could shift probabilities. In-game performance during the series itself – for example, a dominant performance by one team in Game 1 – would likely cause a rapid adjustment in the odds. Major upsets in other matches within the LoL Arabian League Playoffs could also influence sentiment and trading activity. Monitoring social media and esports news sources for real-time updates will be crucial for understanding potential market movements.
