On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing their belief about the likelihood of 37 or more total games being played in the Harris-Tsitsipas match. The price of these contracts fluctuates based on supply and demand, effectively creating a real-time probability assessment. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders are incentivized to provide accurate predictions, as profitable trading opportunities arise from discrepancies between their beliefs and the market price. This dynamic process aims to converge towards a fair and efficient probability estimate.
This market resolves around Sep 3, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the official match result, including the total number of games played, will be used to determine whether 37 or more games were played. The resolution will be based on publicly available data from official tennis sources and will be verified to ensure accuracy. Traders holding contracts predicting 37 or more games will be paid out if the condition is met, while those holding contracts predicting fewer games will not.
Several factors could influence trading activity and move this market before resolution. Any news regarding player fitness, such as an injury to either Lloyd Harris or Stefanos Tsitsipas, would likely have a significant impact. Changes in weather conditions, particularly if they affect the playing surface, could also shift expectations. Additionally, early performance in the match itself, even just the first few games, could lead to rapid adjustments in the market price as traders react to the unfolding events. Public sentiment and expert analysis, if widely disseminated, could also contribute to price movements.
