Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from those set by sportsbooks. Sportsbooks establish initial lines based on their own analysis, aiming to balance action on both sides, while this market allows anyone to trade based on their own information and beliefs. As a result, prediction markets can sometimes offer more accurate probabilities, especially as more information becomes available. However, sportsbooks may also incorporate factors not fully captured by the prediction market, such as team morale or injury updates. It's valuable to compare both to form a well-rounded view.
