These probabilities are aggregated from Limitless, Kalshi, and Polymarket, and the market will resolve based on the official result reported by https://www.efl.com/. This event is for the upcoming EFL Cup (Carabao Cup) game, scheduled for Tuesday, September 15, 2026 between Liverpool FC and Tottenham Hotspur FC.
The event determines the winner of a professional EFL Cup soccer match between Liverpool and Tottenham, scheduled for September 15, 2026, based exclusively on the result after 90 minutes of regulation time plus any stoppage time, with no consideration for extra time or penalty shootouts. If Liverpool wins within this timeframe, the 'Liverpool' market resolves to Yes. If Tottenham wins, the 'Tottenham' market resolves to Yes. Should the match conclude in a tie after regulation and stoppage time, the 'Tie' market resolves to Yes. If the match is canceled or rescheduled to more than 48 hours beyond the original date, all markets will resolve to a fair price as determined by the platform. The platform explicitly states it is not affiliated with or connected to the governing league, and all trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
This market resolves to "YES" if the listed club wins after 90 minutes plus stoppage time, excluding extra time and penalty shootouts, in the match scheduled for September 15, 2026, 19:00 UTC. Otherwise, it will resolve to "NO." If the match is postponed, this market will remain open until the match has been completed. If the match is not completed as scheduled for any reason (for example, if it is abandoned, canceled, or awarded), and an official final result is recognized by the governing body or event organizers, this market will resolve based on that result. If no official final result is recognized and no make-up match is scheduled, this market will resolve "NO." Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.
Prediction market odds, like those found on Polymarket and Kalshi, often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set initial lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, incorporating a profit margin. This market, however, is driven by traders who are incentivized to accurately predict the outcome. As a result, prediction market prices can sometimes be more accurate, especially as the event approaches and more information becomes available. Differences can also arise due to varying levels of liquidity and market participants.
