Any subsequent revisions will not affect this resolution.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and manage risk, while prediction markets aggregate beliefs from traders with real money at stake. This market may show odds that differ meaningfully from traditional sportsbooks, offering an alternative view of the matchup's probability. Comparing the two can reveal where consensus is strongest or where specialized knowledge might be pricing in factors that casual bettors overlook.

On Opinion, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders submit bids and asks for shares representing each outcome. On Opinion, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the marginal probability assigned by the last trade executed, and spreads between bid and ask widen or tighten based on liquidity and conviction. As new information surfaces or trading volume shifts, prices adjust in real time, allowing you to enter or exit positions at market rates or place limit orders to wait for your target price.

This market resolves around Jul 8, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome will reflect which player wins the contest. Until that point, prices will fluctuate based on pre-match analysis, player form, injury reports, and other factors that traders believe influence the final result. Resolution is automatic once the event is confirmed, and all positions settle according to the winning outcome.

Several catalysts could shift odds significantly before the match begins. Injury announcements or fitness updates for either player often trigger sharp repricing. Recent tournament results, head-to-head records, and surface-specific performance data may prompt traders to reassess probabilities. Court conditions, weather forecasts, and draw positioning can also influence sentiment. Media coverage, betting syndicates entering the market, and changes in player ranking or ranking points at stake all serve as signals that drive trading activity and price movement leading up to the event.
