Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
Both Polymarket and Kalshi use identical resolution logic: the market resolves based on the official match outcome (win, loss, or draw) after 90 minutes plus stoppage time on April 25, 2026, with consistent handling of postponements and cancellations.
Primary resolution logic:
Official statistics from the EFL (English Football League) as the governing body for EFL League One, with fallback to credible reporting consensus if official statistics are not published within 2 hours of match conclusion.
Core resolution logic:
Polymarket Wycombe Win market resolves YES if and only if Wycombe Wanderers FC wins the match; resolves NO otherwise.
Polymarket Lincoln Win market resolves YES if and only if Lincoln City FC wins the match; resolves NO otherwise.
Polymarket Draw market resolves YES if and only if the match ends in a draw; resolves NO otherwise.
Kalshi markets resolve YES for any outcome (Tie, Wycombe win, or Lincoln win) that occurs after 90 minutes plus stoppage time.
If the match is postponed, all markets remain open until the match is completed.
If the match is canceled with no make-up game, Polymarket draw market resolves YES and win markets resolve NO; Kalshi markets all resolve YES (covering all possible outcomes).
Resolution scope is strictly the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time, excluding extra time and penalties.
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Match Cancellation: If the match is canceled entirely with no make-up game, Polymarket's draw market resolves YES while its win markets resolve NO. Kalshi's markets all resolve YES because the rules state resolution occurs if any of the three outcomes (Tie, Wycombe, or Lincoln) wins the match; cancellation with no make-up triggers all three conditions.
Postponement and Rescheduling: If the match is postponed, all markets on both platforms remain open until the match is completed and the official result is published. Resolution occurs only after the rescheduled match concludes.
Resolution Source Timing: Primary resolution uses official EFL statistics. If official statistics are not published within 2 hours of match conclusion, credible reporting consensus may be used as a fallback source.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon official publication of the final match result by the EFL or credible reporting consensus within 2 hours of match conclusion on April 25, 2026.
