Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different pricing mechanisms. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and manage risk, while prediction markets like this one are priced by traders directly expressing their beliefs. Sportsbooks typically incorporate sharp professional action and margin, whereas this market aggregates decentralized trader conviction. Both can offer value, but prediction markets sometimes capture longer-tail insights or niche outcomes that sportsbooks deprioritize, making direct comparison useful for identifying mispricings.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different outcomes. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome reflects the ratio of shares outstanding, so as traders accumulate positions, the odds shift dynamically. This continuous repricing ensures the market stays responsive to new information and trader sentiment throughout the trading window, allowing you to enter or exit at any time before resolution.
This market resolves around Jul 25, 2026, once the second half of the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome will be confirmed based on the official final score and result recorded by the relevant sports authority. Traders holding positions aligned with the verified outcome will receive their payout, while opposing positions expire worthless. The exact resolution timing depends on when the match completes and results are officially published.
Several factors could shift odds in this market before the second half begins. Team news—such as injuries, lineup changes, or tactical adjustments announced before kickoff—often triggers repricing. Early first-half momentum and scoreline can influence trader expectations for the second half, especially if one team dominates or falls behind. Weather conditions, referee assignments, or late-breaking roster updates may also influence sentiment. Real-time commentary and live first-half action typically drive the most significant price movements as traders update their beliefs about how the second half will unfold.
