The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.

Prediction markets and traditional sportsbooks price outcomes differently. Sportsbooks apply fixed margins and employ professional oddsmakers; prediction markets rely on decentralized trader consensus, which can reflect real-time information faster. On this market, odds fluctuate based on participant trading rather than a centralized book. Prediction market prices often converge toward true probabilities over time because traders profit by identifying mispricing. However, sportsbook odds may incorporate different risk models or liquidity constraints, so direct comparison requires examining both venues independently rather than assuming one is more accurate.
On Polymarket, traders set prices by buying and selling shares of each exact-score outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The leading outcome—Liaoning Tieren FC 1–2 Chongqing Tonglianglong FC—currently reflects strong trader conviction. Prices move inversely to order flow: heavy buying pushes an outcome's price upward, while selling pressure lowers it. This continuous auction mechanism ensures that the market price at any moment represents the collective belief of active traders. Liquidity and trading volume influence how quickly prices adjust to new information.
This market resolves around Jul 4, 2026, once the Liaoning versus Chongqing match concludes and the final score is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the exact scoreline at the end of regulation time. Traders holding shares in the correct final score receive their payout; all other positions expire worthless. Resolution timing depends on match completion and confirmation availability, so final settlement may occur shortly after the whistle or once official reporting is published.
Several factors can shift odds before kickoff and during the match. Team news—injuries, suspensions, or lineup changes—often triggers sharp price moves. Recent form, head-to-head history, and weather conditions influence trader positioning. During the match itself, early goals, red cards, or momentum swings prompt rapid repricing as live information flows in. Betting syndicates and sharp traders may also adjust positions based on proprietary analysis or real-time match data. Volume spikes typically occur near the end date as traders finalize positions ahead of resolution.
