If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and need to account for profit margins, while this market relies on the collective predictions of traders. If a significant discrepancy exists, it may indicate that the market believes a sportsbook has mispriced the probability of a particular outcome. However, it's important to remember that both represent probabilities, and neither guarantees the actual result of the match.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing different exact scores. The price of each contract reflects the market's assessment of the probability of that score occurring. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the prices adjust accordingly, creating a dynamic and real-time representation of expectations for the Leeds vs. Newcastle match. The current implied probabilities are driven entirely by supply and demand within the Predict marketplace.
This market resolves around Sep 14, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final result, the exact score of the Leeds United vs. Newcastle United match, will be used to determine which contracts pay out. Traders holding contracts corresponding to the correct final score will receive a payout, while those holding contracts for incorrect scores will not. The resolution will be based on the official match result as reported by a trusted sports data source.
Several factors could influence the trading activity in this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Leeds United or Newcastle United would likely cause significant shifts in the odds. Team form, recent match results, and tactical changes announced by the managers could also impact trader sentiment. Even unexpected weather conditions on match day could play a role. Furthermore, any significant public discussion or analysis of the match could influence the collective prediction, leading to price movements in this market.
