On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing the outcome. The price of these contracts reflects the market’s collective assessment of the probability of Leeds and Newcastle receiving 4 or more total cards. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the price fluctuates, offering a dynamic representation of expectations. This differs from fixed-odds betting, where the odds are set in advance and do not change based on subsequent trading activity.
This market resolves around Sep 15, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final card count from the Leeds and Newcastle match will be used to determine whether the total number of cards issued is 4 or more. The official match report will serve as the basis for verification. Traders holding contracts predicting 4+ cards will be paid out if the outcome matches, while those holding contracts predicting fewer cards will not.
Several factors could influence the price of this market. News regarding injuries or suspensions to key players known for accumulating cards in either Leeds or Newcastle could significantly shift expectations. Tactical changes announced by either manager, particularly those impacting defensive strategies, might also move the market. Even the referee assigned to the match could be a factor, as some referees are known to issue more cards than others. Any pre-match analysis suggesting a particularly physical or contentious game could also impact trading activity.
