Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Core resolution logic:

• Market resolves based on the match outcome after 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time only (no extra time or penalties).
• Three mutually exclusive outcomes are possible: LDU de Quito wins, Mirassol FC wins, or the match ends in a draw.
• On Kalshi, all three outcomes (LDU win, Tie, Mirassol win) resolve to YES.
• On Polymarket, three separate binary markets exist: LDU win resolves YES if LDU wins (otherwise NO), Mirassol win resolves YES if Mirassol wins (otherwise NO), and Draw resolves YES if match ends in a draw (otherwise NO).
• If the match is postponed, both platforms keep markets open until completion.
• If the match is canceled with no make-up game, Kalshi markets resolve YES (any outcome), and Polymarket Draw market resolves YES while Polymarket win markets resolve NO.

Edge cases & Clarifications:

• Match Postponement: If the match is postponed beyond April 14, 2026, both platforms remain open and unresolved until the match is completed. Resolution then occurs based on the actual match outcome whenever it takes place.
• Match Cancellation: If the match is canceled entirely with no make-up game scheduled, Kalshi resolves all three markets to YES (since any outcome technically occurred). Polymarket's Draw market resolves YES and both win markets resolve NO.
• Extra Time or Penalties: Both platforms explicitly exclude extra time and penalty shootouts from resolution scope. Only the 90 minutes plus stoppage time determines the outcome.
• Official Statistics Delay: If CONMEBOL does not publish official statistics within 2 hours of match conclusion, both platforms permit resolution based on consensus of credible reporting sources.
