Frequently asked questions

Often, prediction market odds reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd effect, potentially differing from initial sportsbook offerings. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many individual traders. If a significant number of informed bettors believe a high-scoring game is more likely than sportsbooks suggest, the odds on Limitless will shift accordingly. It's common to see prediction markets outperform traditional sportsbooks, especially when there's strong disagreement or access to unique information.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders can buy and sell contracts representing their belief about whether Lazio and AC Milan will score 3 or more total goals. The price of these contracts fluctuates based on supply and demand, directly reflecting the collective probability assigned by traders. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders are essentially betting against each other, and the market price represents the aggregated expectation. The more traders who believe a high-scoring game is likely, the higher the price will climb.

This market resolves around Sep 13, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final score of the Lazio vs AC Milan match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the total number of goals scored by both teams combined during regulation time. Any extra time or penalty shootouts will not be considered. The official match result, as reported by a recognized sports data provider, will determine whether the market settles in favor of 'Lazio and AC Milan have 3 or more total goals?' or the opposing outcome.

Several factors could influence the price of this market before the match. News regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Lazio or AC Milan would be significant, as would any changes in team formations or tactical approaches. Unexpected weather conditions on match day could also play a role, potentially impacting the likelihood of a high-scoring game. Even public sentiment, reflected in social media or expert analysis, can influence trading activity on Limitless, causing the odds to shift based on evolving expectations.
