Frequently asked questions

The dashboard on Polymarket tracks real-time odds and trading activity for the last AMER team standing at EWC. It displays current market prices reflecting trader expectations about which American region team will outlast all others in this endurance competition. The interface shows historical price movements and total volume of $1,105 across all outcomes, helping traders monitor how sentiment shifts as the event unfolds. This centralized view lets you compare probabilities across all possible American teams and identify which outcomes attract the most trading interest.

Prediction market odds on Polymarket often diverge from traditional sportsbook lines because they reflect a broader, decentralized crowd rather than professional oddsmakers. Sportsbooks adjust lines to balance liability and profit; prediction markets price outcomes based on continuous trader consensus. This market typically shows where informed traders believe the true probability lies. Comparing the two can reveal undervalued or overvalued outcomes, though prediction markets excel at capturing real-time information and shifting expectations as new developments emerge during the competition.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader buy and sell orders into real-time probability estimates. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each outcome token trades independently, and the price of each reflects the collective belief about its likelihood. Traders profit by buying underpriced outcomes and selling overpriced ones, which naturally drives prices toward equilibrium. The spread between bid and ask prices tightens as volume increases, rewarding active participation and improving price discovery throughout the event window.

Key catalysts include team performance in qualifying rounds, roster changes or injuries affecting American competitors, and head-to-head matchup results that narrow the field. Strategic eliminations and unexpected upsets can dramatically shift survival probabilities for remaining teams. Media coverage and expert commentary often trigger repricing as new information surfaces. Weather, venue conditions, and rule interpretations specific to the endurance format may also influence trader sentiment. Monitoring team standings and official announcements will help you anticipate market moves before prices adjust.
