PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

All markets use clearly defined, consistent data sources for resolution: credible reporting for market cap rankings and Pyth price feeds for Apple’s price movement.Primary resolution logic: Consensus of credible financial reporting for market cap; Pyth AAPL/USD price feed for Apple weekly movement

Core resolution logic:

  • Market capitalization will be determined as of the market close on September 30, 2026.
  • Apple’s weekly price movement will be determined by comparing Pyth AAPL/USD prices at the end of regular trading hours on specified dates.
  • Stock splits and corporate actions will be adjusted for in market cap and price calculations.

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • No Trading Day: If a relevant trading day has no valid Pyth price, the official price published by the primary exchange will be used for Apple’s price movement market.
  • Market Holiday: If a comparison day is a market holiday, the price from the next most recent trading day will be used for Apple’s weekly market.
Timing: Resolution occurs after market close on September 30, 2026, for market cap markets, and after market close on August 14, 2026, for Apple’s weekly price movement market. Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.

Polymarket

This market will resolve to the largest company in the world by market cap on September 30, 2026, as of market close. The resolution source for this market will be a consensus of credible reporting.

Limitless

This market will resolve to "Up" if the price for Apple (Pyth AAPL/USD) on August 14, 2026 is strictly higher than the price for Apple (Pyth AAPL/USD) on August 7, 2026. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The price for Apple (Pyth AAPL/USD) captured on August 7, 2026 was $313.27187. Resolution source: Pyth AAPL/USD price feed. Other exchanges, spot markets, and oracles will not be used. For example, a weekly Friday market would ordinarily compare that Friday's price with the previous Friday's price, unless that previous Friday was a market holiday. In that case, it would compare against Thursday's price, or the next most recent trading day. If Apple (AAPL) does not trade at all during the regular session on August 14, 2026, this market will resolve to "Down". For a standard full trading session, the price for that trading day refers to the Pyth price at the end of regular trading hours on the primary exchange. If either relevant trading day has no valid Pyth price at the end of regular trading hours on the primary exchange, the last valid Pyth price published during that day's regular trading hours will be used as the effective price for that day. If no valid Pyth price exists for that trading day due to a system outage, data failure, or other technical disruption, the official price published by the primary exchange on which AAPL is listed will be used to determine the price for that day. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting AAPL during the relevant time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Pyth.

Frequently asked questions

The largest company race dashboard aggregates predictions across multiple venues for the same question, showing how traders view the battle for top spot. It displays current odds, volume of $380,860, and 24-hour volume of $12,783 from platforms like Polymarket and Limitless. This unified view helps you spot consensus or divergence in expectations, letting you gauge market sentiment about which firm might lead by market capitalization at the close of Sep 30, 2026. The dashboard is especially useful for comparing real-time sentiment in the largest company race.

Prediction market odds on this market often diverge from traditional analyst forecasts, reflecting real-time trader sentiment and market dynamics rather than long-term equity research. While analysts may weigh fundamentals and earnings projections, traders price in immediate reactions to news, macroeconomic signals, and competitive threats. This can lead to short-term volatility in odds that isn’t always mirrored in consensus analyst ratings, making the market a complementary — rather than confirmatory — indicator of corporate strength.

This market resolves around Sep 30, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The closing market-capitalization figures for all publicly traded companies will be compared, and the firm with the highest value at that moment wins. No complex calculations or private data are involved — just a straightforward snapshot of publicly available financial data at the specified timestamp.

Several signals could shift odds in this market before Sep 30, 2026. Earnings surprises, major product launches, mergers or acquisitions, and macroeconomic shifts — especially interest-rate decisions — often reshape investor sentiment rapidly. Geopolitical events, regulatory news affecting tech giants, and market-wide sell-offs or rallies also influence perceptions of relative strength. Traders will react to any development that alters the perceived balance of power among the world’s largest corporations.
