This market will resolve to "Maldives" if Maldives are the first to score within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time. If neither team scores within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time, this market will resolve "Neither". If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve to "Neither". This market refers only to the outcome within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time. Extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, which represents their profit margin. This market, driven by the collective intelligence of traders on Predict, aims to reflect the true probability of each outcome. While sportsbooks may initially set odds based on expert analysis, prediction markets can quickly adjust based on new information and diverse opinions. It's common to see discrepancies, especially as the event approaches and more volume is traded.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes. The price of each contract reflects the market's current assessment of the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate and place orders, the prices adjust to find an equilibrium. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price movements are driven by supply and demand, meaning if more people believe an outcome is likely, the price of that contract will increase, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing mechanism allows the market to aggregate information efficiently.
This market resolves around Sep 28, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the market will determine which team scores the first goal in the Kyrgyzstan vs. Maldives match. The resolution will be based on official match data and sources widely recognized for sports results. Any disputes will be evaluated based on the official game records and established sporting rules. The outcome will be determined by which team is officially recorded as scoring first.
Several factors could influence trading activity and move this market. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in player lineups, or even weather conditions could impact predictions. Significant shifts in public opinion, perhaps driven by expert analysis or media coverage, could also lead to price fluctuations. Unexpected events during the match itself, such as a red card or an early penalty, would likely cause a rapid reassessment of probabilities. Increased trading volume, particularly closer to Sep 28, 2026, often signals heightened interest and potential price volatility.
