In the upcoming FIFA International Friendlies game between Kyrgyz Republic and Maldives, scheduled for September 28, 2026 at 10:00 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Kyrgyz Republic vs. Maldives match originally scheduled for September 28, 2026 at 10:00 AM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines based on statistical models and expert opinions, while this market incorporates a broader range of information and perspectives from participants actively trading. If sportsbook odds suggest a clear favorite, this market might show a more nuanced view, especially if there’s significant uncertainty or disagreement about the potential outcome. It's common to see prediction markets adjust more quickly to new information than sportsbooks.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing different exact scores. The price of each contract fluctuates based on supply and demand, reflecting the collective belief of participants regarding the probability of that score occurring. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more people buy contracts for a particular score, its price increases, indicating a higher perceived likelihood. Conversely, increased selling pressure drives the price down. This dynamic pricing mechanism ensures that the market odds continuously adapt to new information and changing sentiment.
This market resolves around Sep 28, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official score of the match between Kyrgyzstan and the Maldives will be used to determine the winning contract. The resolution will be based on the officially recorded result, ensuring a transparent and objective determination of the outcome. Any potential disputes will be evaluated based on widely accepted sources of sports data and official match results.
Several factors could influence the trading activity in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in player lineups, or unexpected weather conditions could shift the perceived probabilities. Furthermore, pre-match analysis from sports commentators, updated team statistics, or even significant betting activity in traditional sportsbooks could all contribute to price movements. Public sentiment and social media discussions surrounding the match could also play a role, as traders react to evolving narratives and expectations before Sep 28, 2026.
