PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue: Kalshi and Polymarket measure entirely different outcomes: Kalshi resolves on match winner (binary), while Polymarket resolves on sixes count (ternary). Additionally, the scheduled match dates differ (Jun 15 vs Jun 10, 2026), creating ambiguity about which fixture is the authoritative event.Hero tip: Do not treat these markets as correlated or hedgeable. Kalshi's YES outcome (either team wins) is orthogonal to Polymarket's sixes outcomes. Confirm the official Kwibuka T20 fixture date and verify whether Kalshi's market description is erroneous or refers to a different match entirely. Trading these as a pair without date/scope clarification carries critical execution risk.

Critical divergence points:

  • Kalshi: Binary match-outcome market. Resolves YES if Malawi wins OR Rwanda wins the match on Jun 15, 2026 at 7:30 AM EDT. This is a win/loss resolution, not a sixes-count resolution. Key Quote: If Malawi wins the match, then YES. If Rwanda wins the match, then YES.
  • Polymarket: Ternary sixes-count market. Resolves to Rwanda Winner, Malawi Winner, or Draw based on which team hits more sixes in the match on Jun 10, 2026. Only sixes from the bat count; super over sixes excluded. Cancellation or missing statistics = Draw. Key Quote: The outcome corresponding to Rwanda will be considered correct if Rwanda is officially recorded as hitting more sixes than Malawi.
