This market refers to the cricket match between Rwanda and Malawi scheduled for June 15 2026 in Kwibuka T20 Tournament, Women. This market resolves according to the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they serve different purposes and audiences. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and manage risk, factoring in their profit margin. Prediction markets, by contrast, aggregate the beliefs of many independent traders with real money at stake, often producing prices closer to true probabilities. This market may show different implied odds than traditional sportsbooks, reflecting trader conviction rather than bookmaker positioning. Comparing the two can reveal where consensus differs and highlight potential value.
On Polymarket, traders set prices by buying and selling outcome shares in an automated market maker system. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome reflects supply and demand; as more traders back one team, that outcome's price rises and the implied probability increases. You can enter or exit positions at any time before the market closes, with your execution price determined by the current order book depth. This continuous pricing mechanism ensures the market stays responsive to new information and trader sentiment throughout the event window.
This market resolves around Jun 22, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the official match result—which team wins the T20 fixture. Resolution occurs after the game is complete and the winner is confirmed through established cricket reporting channels. Traders should monitor the event schedule and any official announcements to stay informed of timing changes or postponements that could affect the resolution date.
Several factors can shift odds before this market resolves. Team announcements regarding player injuries, roster changes, or tactical adjustments often trigger sharp price moves. Weather forecasts for match day—particularly wind and rain conditions affecting T20 play—can influence trading activity. Recent form, head-to-head records, and any pre-match commentary from analysts may also sway trader positioning. Additionally, early match developments like coin toss outcomes or opening overs can create volatility if they surprise the market consensus.
