PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue: Kalshi's match outcome markets contain a logical contradiction where both Nigeria and Brazil wins resolve to Yes, making the market fundamentally unresolvable and unable to differentiate outcomes. Polymarket's outcome logic is sound and properly handles all edge cases.Hero tip: Do not trade Kalshi match outcome markets for this event - they cannot resolve correctly. Trade Polymarket instead, which has clear winner-takes-all logic with proper 50-50 handling for tied matches without tiebreaks.

Critical divergence points:

  • Kalshi: Match outcome markets are logically broken. Both Nigeria wins and Brazil wins are coded to resolve Yes, creating an impossible state. No differentiation between outcomes is possible. Key Quote: If Nigeria wins resolves Yes AND If Brazil wins resolves Yes.
  • Polymarket: Match outcome resolves to actual winner. Ties with on-field tiebreak (Super Over) resolve to tiebreak winner. Ties without tiebreak resolve 50-50. Abandoned/canceled matches resolve 50-50. Resolution source is ESPN Cricinfo with 2-hour fallback to credible reporting. Key Quote: The winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If no tiebreak, market will resolve 50-50.
Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Polymarket

This market refers to the cricket match between Nigeria and Brazil scheduled for June 11 2026 in Kwibuka T20 Tournament, Women. This market resolves according to the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Kalshi

The match resolves based on which team is declared the official winner by the governing body. If the match ends in a tie, draw, no result, abandonment, or cancellation with no official winner declared, all markets resolve to $0.50. If a forfeit, disqualification, or concession occurs before the match begins, markets resolve to $0.50. If such an event occurs after play has begun and the governing body declares an official winner, the market resolves based on that result. If play begins but insufficient play occurs to determine an official result, all markets resolve to $0.50.

Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds on Polymarket and Kalshi often differ from traditional sportsbook lines because they reflect real-time crowd sentiment rather than fixed bookmaker margins. Sportsbooks typically build in a 4–6% vig and adjust lines to balance liability; prediction markets adjust continuously as traders buy and sell shares. For the Nigeria vs Brazil match, comparing market-implied probabilities to sportsbook spreads can reveal value opportunities. Prediction markets tend to be more efficient at pricing uncertainty when volume is high, though sportsbooks may move faster on breaking news or injury updates.

Key catalysts include team roster announcements, injury updates to star players, recent form and head-to-head records, weather forecasts at the venue, and toss outcomes on match day. Pre-match commentary from analysts and betting syndicates can shift sentiment sharply. Live in-play developments—early wickets, batting momentum, or fielding errors—typically trigger the largest price swings once the match begins. Social media buzz, betting exchange activity spikes, and late-breaking news about player availability will all influence trader positioning leading up to and during the fixture.
