This market refers to the cricket match between Brazil and Malawi scheduled for June 17 2026 in Kwibuka T20 Tournament, Women. This market resolves according to the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they serve different purposes and operate under different constraints. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and manage risk, while prediction markets like this one reflect the aggregate belief of traders with real money at stake. Prediction markets tend to be more efficient at incorporating late-breaking information and can sometimes offer sharper probability estimates than traditional bookmakers. However, sportsbook odds may reflect deeper liquidity and professional sharp action. Comparing this market's implied odds to major sportsbook lines can reveal valuable discrepancies for informed bettors.
On Polymarket, traders set prices by buying and selling outcome shares in an automated market maker system. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each outcome has a price between 0 and 100 cents, representing the implied probability that outcome will occur. As traders accumulate positions, the price adjusts dynamically based on supply and demand. Higher trading volume typically narrows spreads and increases price accuracy. You can enter or exit positions at any time before market close, and your execution price depends on the current order book depth and your trade size relative to available liquidity.
This market resolves around Jun 24, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome will be confirmed based on the official match result as reported by the tournament organizers and major sports news outlets. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome will receive their payout, while losing positions expire worthless. The resolution process is automated once the event result is confirmed, ensuring all participants receive timely settlement.
Several factors could shift odds before the match begins. Team news—injuries, roster changes, or lineup announcements—often triggers sharp repricing. Weather conditions at the venue may favor one side's playing style or strategy. Recent form, head-to-head history, and any last-minute coaching decisions can all influence trader sentiment. Betting action from professional syndicates or sudden volume spikes may signal new information entering the market. Social media trends and expert commentary can also sway casual traders. Monitor official team announcements and sports news closely to stay ahead of market moves.
