Frequently asked questions

Typically, prediction market odds reflect a more accurate forecast of events than traditional sportsbook odds, as they aggregate the opinions of a diverse group of traders. This is because prediction markets incentivize participants to be well-informed and to express their true beliefs. While sportsbooks may be influenced by factors like house bias or marketing promotions, this market aims to represent the collective wisdom of the crowd. However, discrepancies can occur due to differing levels of information available and the specific incentives of each venue. It’s important to consider both when forming your own opinion.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of these shares directly reflects the implied probability of the event occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price movements are driven by supply and demand; if more people believe Kvak Ihor will win, the price of shares representing that outcome will increase, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing allows the market to quickly incorporate new information and adjust its predictions accordingly, offering a real-time assessment of the match’s potential result.

This market resolves around Sep 12, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Kvak Ihor vs. Pytsko Ivan match, as reported by an authoritative source for the sport.
