If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and need to account for profit margins, while this market relies on traders directly expressing their beliefs about the outcome. If a significant discrepancy exists between this market and sportsbook lines, it may indicate that the crowd believes the sportsbook has mispriced the event. However, it's important to remember that both represent probabilities, and neither is guaranteed to be correct.
This market resolves around Sep 6, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official result of the Kortrijk vs. Zulte Waregem match – specifically, the exact score – will be used to determine the winning shares. The resolution will be based on the official match data released by the governing sporting body. Any disputes will be handled according to Polymarket’s standard procedures, ensuring a fair and transparent outcome for all participants in this market.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Late-breaking news regarding player injuries or suspensions for either Kortrijk or Zulte Waregem would likely cause significant shifts in the odds. Changes in weather conditions, particularly if they are expected to heavily impact the style of play, could also move the market. Additionally, any pre-match analysis from reputable sports analysts predicting a specific scoreline could sway trader sentiment and affect the price of shares in this market. Unexpected team formations announced shortly before kickoff could also be a catalyst.
