The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate, the price adjusts to reflect the collective assessment of the event's likelihood. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price movements are driven by supply and demand, meaning that if many traders believe in a particular outcome, the price of shares representing that outcome will increase, and vice-versa. This creates a dynamic and real-time estimation of the event’s probability.
