On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, the price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current price reflects the aggregated sentiment of all participants, creating a dynamic and real-time assessment of the match’s potential results. This creates a market-driven probability assessment, unlike static odds offered elsewhere.
This market resolves around Sep 20, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official result of the Kurtenko vs. Pashchenko match as reported by the governing sports body. The platform will verify the result against these sources to determine the winning outcome. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome will be paid out according to the final market price at resolution, while those holding shares in the losing outcome will forfeit their investment. This ensures a transparent and objective resolution process.
Several factors could influence the price of this market. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in coaching strategies, or unexpected performance in preceding matches could significantly shift trader sentiment. Public announcements about player fitness or tactical adjustments would likely have an immediate impact. Additionally, broader trends in tennis performance or shifts in expert analysis could also contribute to price movements. Unexpected upsets in other related tournaments might also indirectly affect how traders perceive the likelihood of each player winning the Kurtenko vs. Pashchenko match.
