Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to profit by balancing action on both sides, while this market allows anyone to trade their view. If a large number of informed bettors believe a sportsbook’s line is inaccurate, this market may show a different probability for the same outcome. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially when public sentiment strongly influences sportsbook pricing, but isn’t reflected in the prediction market.
