Frequently asked questions

On sportsbooks, the chances assigned to each competitor are typically set by analysts and may include adjustments for betting patterns. In contrast, this market lets traders act as the predictors, so the odds adjust in real time based on how much money is placed behind each side. Because of this difference, prediction market prices can move more quickly and reflect the most recent trading activity, whereas sportsbook odds may lag slightly or incorporate broader market considerations.
