On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of a particular outcome. The price of these shares directly reflects the market’s consensus probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders believe an outcome will occur, the higher the price of shares representing that outcome will climb. Conversely, if sentiment shifts towards another outcome, the price of shares in that outcome will increase, and the original outcome’s share price will fall. This dynamic pricing ensures the market reflects the most up-to-date information and collective intelligence.
This market is scheduled to resolve around Oct 3, 2026, once the result of the Kryvorotko vs. Dukhovenko match is officially determined. The outcome will be verified against credible public reporting of the match results. The platform will then confirm the winning outcome based on the official record. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome will be entitled to a payout, while those holding shares in losing outcomes will not. The resolution process is designed to be transparent and based on objective, verifiable data.
Several factors could influence the price movement of this market before Oct 3, 2026. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in coaching strategies, or unexpected performance in prior matches could shift trader sentiment. Publicly available analysis from sports experts and commentators could also impact the market. Major upsets in related matches or broader trends in the sport could also play a role. Essentially, any information that alters the perceived probability of either Kryvorotko or Dukhovenko winning will likely cause fluctuations in the market price.
