On Polymarket, the current probability reflects trader sentiment rather than traditional sportsbook lines. While sportsbooks may assign their own handicaps or spreads, this market lets participants bet directly on the perceived likelihood of outcomes. The difference often comes down to liquidity and the crowd-sourced nature of prediction markets versus established sports betting models. Traders should consider both sources but recognize that Polymarket prices are driven by user activity and may shift rapidly with new information or betting patterns.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now.
