Frequently asked questions

Typically, prediction market odds reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd perspective, often differing from initial sportsbook offerings. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market allows participants to directly express their beliefs about the likelihood of each outcome. If there's significant disagreement between the two, arbitrage opportunities may arise, as traders attempt to profit from the discrepancies. It’s common to see prediction market odds converge with sportsbook odds as the event approaches and more information becomes available, but this isn't always the case.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate, the price adjusts to reflect the collective assessment of the event's likelihood. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Price fluctuations are driven by new information, shifts in sentiment, and trading activity, creating a dynamic and responsive market for predicting the result of the Kozachuk vs. Neborak match.

This market resolves around Oct 1, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Kozachuk vs. Neborak match, as determined by the governing tennis authorities. The platform will verify the result against widely available and trusted sources to ensure accuracy and fairness. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings or adjust their strategies based on the final outcome of the match.

Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Any news regarding player form, injuries, or changes to playing conditions could significantly shift the odds. Unexpected announcements about player strategies or coaching changes could also impact predictions.
