Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks typically incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, while this market aims to represent the true probability as assessed by traders. If a significant discrepancy exists between the odds on Polymarket and those offered by sportsbooks, it could indicate that the market believes the sportsbook is mispricing the event. However, it’s important to remember that both represent different forms of forecasting, and neither is always correct.
