Description

This event group covers the first team to score in the Korea Republic vs. Czechia FIFA World Cup match scheduled for June 11, 2026. Markets across Polymarket and Kalshi attempt to resolve which team (if any) scores first, but differ critically on the time window included in the resolution.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue: Time window scope divergence creates mutually exclusive resolution outcomes. Polymarket caps resolution at 90+stoppage minutes with explicit "Neither" fallback; Kalshi includes full extra time with no clear "Neither" mechanism. A first goal in extra time produces opposite results across platforms.Hero tip: This is a critical structural mismatch. Do not assume these markets will settle identically. If the match reaches extra time, Polymarket will resolve to "Neither" while Kalshi will resolve to whichever team scored first in extra time. Monitor match progression closely and understand which platform's time window applies to your position.

Critical divergence points:

  • Polymarket: First-goal resolution limited to 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time only. Extra time and penalty shootouts explicitly excluded. Three outcomes possible: Korea Republic, Czechia, or Neither. Key Quote: 'This market refers only to the outcome within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time. Extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded.'
  • Kalshi: First-goal resolution includes entire game: regulation, stoppage, and any extra time periods. Market structure implies binary outcomes (Yes for each team or No for neither), but extra time inclusion means first goal after 90+stoppage resolves to the scoring team, not to a neutral outcome. Key Quote: 'If Korea Republic records the first goal during the entire game (regulation, stoppage and any extra time periods)... then the market resolves to Yes.'
Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.
