On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of each outcome. As more shares are traded, the price of those shares adjusts, reflecting the collective opinion of the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. Higher demand for shares in a particular outcome will drive up its price, and therefore its implied probability. This creates a dynamic and real-time assessment of the event’s potential results.
This market resolves around Oct 17, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official result of the Komar vs. Kryshtal match as reported by recognized sports authorities. The platform will then determine the winning outcome based on this official result. Traders who held shares in the winning outcome will be entitled to a payout, while those holding shares in losing outcomes will not. The exact payout amount will depend on the market price at the time of resolution.
Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in match scheduling, or unexpected performance in prior matches could all significantly impact trader sentiment. Public statements from players or coaches, or even changes in weather conditions if the match is outdoors, could also contribute to price movements. Major upsets in related matches, or shifts in expert analysis regarding the players’ form, could also cause traders to reassess their positions and adjust their trading activity, leading to fluctuations in the market.
