PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue: The markets track entirely different events – a table tennis match versus a UFC fight. This makes any comparison or combined trading strategy impossible.Hero tip: Avoid trading both markets simultaneously. They are unrelated and will resolve based on completely separate events.

Critical divergence points:

  • Polymarket: The market resolves based on the winner of the Kolos Oleksandr vs. Boklah Roman table tennis match in the Setka Cup. A 50-50 split occurs for cancellations, ties, or walkovers. Source: setkacup.com
  • Kalshi: The market resolves based on the round and method of victory (KO, TKO, Submission, or Disqualification) in the Drakkar Klose vs. Thomas Gantt UFC fight. Multiple conditions lead to a 'Yes' resolution. The fight is scheduled for September 12, 2026.
Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.

Polymarket

This market will resolve to 'Kolos Oleksandr' if Kolos Oleksandr wins against Boklah Roman. This market will resolve to 'Boklah Roman' if Boklah Roman wins against Kolos Oleksandr. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Kalshi

The fight must occur as scheduled on Sep 12, 2026, and outcomes such as decisions, draws, or no contests will not satisfy the conditions unless explicitly stated for the 'Decision / Draw / No Contest' market.

Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds, like those found for this market, often reflect a more accurate forecast than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks need to account for profit margins and may be influenced by biases, while prediction markets aggregate the opinions of many informed traders. The difference in odds can stem from differing information available to each group, or simply the incentive structure. Prediction markets incentivize accurate predictions, as traders profit from correctly forecasting the outcome. This can lead to a more efficient and informative price discovery process than traditional betting venues.

Prices for this market may differ between Polymarket and Kalshi due to several factors. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform has its own user base, trading rules, and liquidity, which can all contribute to price discrepancies. For example, Polymarket might attract more experienced traders specializing in this sport, while Kalshi could have a broader, more general audience. Differences in trading fees and market-making activity can also play a role. These variations are normal and reflect the independent price discovery processes on each platform.
