Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
Both Polymarket and Kalshi apply identical resolution logic: the match outcome is determined by the result after 90 minutes plus stoppage time, with the same postponement and cancellation rules, and both reference official governing body statistics as the primary source.
Primary resolution logic:
Official statistics from the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) or governing body; if unavailable within 2 hours post-match, credible reporting consensus.
Core resolution logic:
Market resolves based on the match outcome after 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time only (no extra time or penalties).
Kocaelispor win market resolves YES if Kocaelispor scores more goals; otherwise NO.
Göztepe SK win market resolves YES if Göztepe SK scores more goals; otherwise NO.
Draw market resolves YES if both teams have equal goals after 90 minutes plus stoppage time; otherwise NO.
If the match is postponed, all markets remain open until the match is completed.
If the match is canceled with no make-up game, Kocaelispor and Göztepe win markets resolve NO, and the draw market resolves YES.
Exactly one of the three outcome markets will resolve YES (win for Kocaelispor, win for Göztepe, or draw).
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Match Postponement: If the match scheduled for April 18, 2026 is postponed, all markets remain open and unresolved until the match is actually played and completed.
Match Cancellation Without Makeup: If the match is canceled entirely with no makeup game scheduled, the Kocaelispor win and Göztepe win markets resolve NO, while the draw market resolves YES.
Resolution Source Hierarchy: Primary source is official TFF statistics; if TFF does not publish within 2 hours post-match conclusion, credible reporting consensus becomes the resolution basis.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon official publication of the final match result by the Turkish Football Federation or governing body, or within 2 hours after match conclusion via credible reporting consensus if official statistics are unavailable.
