Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, while this market allows traders to freely adjust probabilities based on their own research and insights. If sportsbook odds heavily favor one competitor, you might see a different assessment reflected in this market, particularly if there’s information not yet fully priced into the sportsbook lines. It's common to observe discrepancies, especially before a significant amount of trading occurs, as this market is driven by informed speculation.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of these shares directly reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more shares bought for a particular outcome, the higher its price, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market odds constantly adapt to new information and changing sentiment, providing a real-time assessment of the event’s potential results.
This market resolves around Sep 22, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting.
