Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and manage risk, while prediction markets aggregate the beliefs of traders who have real money at stake on outcomes. This market allows you to compare your own assessment of the exact scoreline against the consensus price on Polymarket, revealing whether you see value that bookmakers or the broader prediction market may have mispriced.
On Polymarket, traders set prices by buying and selling shares that represent each possible exact score outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market price for any scoreline reflects the collective confidence of all participants; higher prices indicate stronger belief in that result. As match details, team news, or other signals emerge, traders adjust their positions, causing prices to shift in real time. The most actively traded outcomes typically show tighter spreads and deeper liquidity.
This market resolves around Jul 22, 2026, once the match concludes and the final score is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the exact scoreline at the end of regular play. Until that point, prices will fluctuate as traders incorporate team news, injury updates, and other relevant signals that may influence the likely result.
Key injury announcements, lineup changes, or tactical shifts by either team can trigger significant price movement in this market. Recent form, head-to-head history, and weather conditions on match day may also influence trader behavior. Breaking news about player availability, managerial decisions, or external circumstances affecting either side will likely prompt rapid repricing as participants update their probability estimates and adjust positions accordingly.
