A Korea KBO regular season baseball game between the Kiwoom Heroes and KT Wiz scheduled for July 7, 2026. The outcome depends on which team wins the matchup.
Resolution is determined by the final result of the game originally scheduled for July 7, 2026 at 5:30 AM EDT. If the game is postponed or delayed, the market remains open and resolves after the rescheduled game concludes, provided the reschedule occurs within two days. Should the game be cancelled or rescheduled beyond two days, the market resolves to a fair price per standard rules. In the event of a tie, the market resolves to 50/50.
Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets are driven purely by trader belief and financial risk. This market aggregates the views of thousands of independent traders with real money at stake, which can surface insights that sportsbooks lag to price in. Comparing this market's implied probability to major sportsbook lines can reveal where consensus differs and highlight potential value.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders submit bids and asks for shares representing each outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the marginal probability traders assign to that outcome at any moment. As new information emerges—injury reports, lineup changes, or betting momentum—traders adjust their positions, and the price updates in real time. Your entry and exit prices depend on the depth and activity in the order book at the time of your trade.
This market resolves around Jul 7, 2026, after the game concludes and the final result is verified. The outcome is confirmed once the winner is established through credible public reporting of the match result. Until that point, prices may fluctuate based on live game developments, betting flows, and trader sentiment. Once the event is finalized and the outcome is certain, the market settles and traders' positions are paid out according to the winning outcome.
Key catalysts include roster announcements, injury updates, recent team performance trends, and head-to-head historical matchups. Weather conditions and home-field advantage can also influence trader positioning. Major betting syndicates or sharp money entering the market may trigger sharp price moves as they signal new information or conviction. Live game action—early runs, pitching changes, or momentum shifts—will drive continuous repricing as traders update their win probability estimates in real time.
