Kits Esports and Polar Squad Esports compete in the first map of their League of Legends match scheduled for July 18, 2026. The winner of map 1 will be determined by official LRN results.
Resolution depends on the outcome of map 1 in the scheduled LRN 2026 League of Legends match between Kits Esports and Polar Squad Esports on July 18, 2026 at 10:00 PM EDT. If the map is postponed and not completed within 48 hours of the originally scheduled start time, the market resolves to fair market price. If the match or map is cancelled before play begins, or if a match is forfeited before any play occurs, the market resolves to fair market price. If a map is forfeited before any play occurs in that map, the market resolves to fair market price. However, if a map begins and is subsequently forfeited, the market resolves according to the official result published by the governing body or tournament organizer.
Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and manage risk, while prediction markets aggregate the beliefs of traders risking real capital on outcomes. For esports events like this one, prediction markets may react faster to roster updates or scrim results, whereas sportsbooks adjust more cautiously to protect margins. Comparing the two can reveal where the broader trading community sees value relative to traditional betting lines, though both should be viewed as estimates rather than certainties.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the collective expectation of the outcome's probability, ranging from near-zero to near-100. As new information surfaces—such as team announcements or analyst commentary—traders adjust their positions, moving the price in real time. This dynamic pricing model ensures the market continuously incorporates fresh signals and allows you to enter or exit at transparent, market-determined rates.
This market resolves around Jul 19, 2026, once the Map 1 result is finalized and verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome will be confirmed based on the official match result reported by the esports organization or league overseeing the event. Until that point, the market remains open for trading, and prices may shift as the event approaches and new developments emerge. Resolution happens automatically once the outcome is determined and validated, settling all positions accordingly.
Several catalysts could shift prices before resolution. Roster announcements, player injuries, or last-minute lineup changes can significantly alter perceived team strength. Pre-match scrimmages, recent tournament results, or public statements from coaches and analysts may influence trader confidence. Map-specific meta shifts, patch updates to the underlying game, or changes in team strategy could also matter. Additionally, odds may tighten as the match approaches and uncertainty naturally decreases. Monitoring esports news outlets and team social media will help you stay ahead of moves that could reshape this market.
