Prediction market odds in this market often differ from traditional sportsbook lines because they reflect crowd-sourced probabilities rather than operator adjustments. Traders on Polymarket may assign higher or lower probabilities to specific scores based on community insights, recent team performance, and in-game dynamics. This can create mispricings relative to sportsbook odds, especially for less common scorelines, where prediction markets may offer better value for sharp bettors.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, traders collectively set the price for each possible score outcome through buying and selling shares. The current odds reflect the ratio of shares sold to shares available, with liquidity concentrating around the most likely scores. As new information emerges — such as player injuries or weather updates — these odds shift based on trader activity, often creating rapid changes in the market’s implied distribution.
This market resolves around Aug 22, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score reported by authoritative sports news outlets and league official records will determine which outcome pays out. No manual intervention or platform-specific rules affect this process; the market settles automatically based on publicly confirmed results.
Injuries to key players, weather conditions affecting play, and tactical changes by coaches can all shift trader sentiment and move this market. Momentum swings during early match minutes — such as red cards or fast goals — often trigger rapid price adjustments on Polymarket as participants reassess the likelihood of various scorelines. Media narratives and pre-match polls may also influence volume and odds in the hours before kickoff.
