Frequently asked questions

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and incorporate a profit margin, while this market is driven by traders directly expressing their beliefs. If a significant discrepancy exists between the two, it may indicate that the market perceives information differently than the sportsbook, or that one venue has more informed traders. It’s important to compare these odds to gain a broader understanding of potential outcomes.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders believe an outcome is likely, the higher the price of its shares will climb, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing reflects the collective intelligence of the traders on the platform.

This market resolves around Sep 9, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Kheresko vs. Kozoriz match, as reported by a recognized sports authority. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings or adjust their strategies based on the final result. It’s important to monitor news sources for updates as the resolution date approaches.

Several factors could influence the price movement of this market. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in coaching strategies, or unexpected performance in preceding matches could shift trader sentiment.
