This event group covers two distinct competitions: a UFC fight night bout between Kennedy Nzechukwu and Shamil Gaziev, and a table tennis match between Khavanskyi Denys and Semenets Serhii in the Setka Cup Ukraine Men tournament.
This market refers to the table tennis match between Khavanskyi Denys and Semenets Serhii in Setka Cup Ukraine Men, scheduled for August 23 at 2:35AM ET. This market will resolve to 'Khavanskyi Denys' if Khavanskyi Denys wins against Semenets Serhii. This market will resolve to 'Semenets Serhii' if Semenets Serhii wins against Khavanskyi Denys. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one player advances due to the opponent's retirement, default, or disqualification, this market will resolve to the player who advances. If the match ends in a walkover (player withdraws before the start and the other advances automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.
The market resolves based on the official method of victory in the Kennedy Nzechukwu vs Shamil Gaziev UFC Fight Night bout scheduled for August 22, 2026. If Nzechukwu wins by knockout (KO), technical knockout (TKO), disqualification (DQ), submission, or decision, the corresponding market resolves to Yes. Similarly, if Gaziev wins by any of these methods, his respective market resolves to Yes. Should the fight conclude as a draw or no contest, the designated market resolves to Yes. All outcomes are determined by the official UFC declaration, and Kalshi explicitly disclaims any affiliation with the governing league or ownership of related trademarks and branding.
On Polymarket and Kalshi, prices can vary because of differences in user bases, liquidity, and trading activity. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. For instance, one platform might attract more retail traders, skewing its prices toward popular opinions, while the other could see heavier participation from sharp players valuing nuanced analysis. Additionally, each venue has its own fee structure and order-book dynamics, which further influence how odds are set across this market.
Key signals that could shift this market include pre-fight media coverage, injury updates, and changes in fighter rankings or training performance. Any last-minute alterations to the fight card, such as weigh-in results or coaching strategies, may also impact trader sentiment. As the event nears, momentum swings from betting trends on either Polymarket or Kalshi can cause rapid price adjustments, especially if new information emerges about either fighter’s readiness or form.
