On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing different outcomes – in this case, which team will hit the most sixes. The price of each share reflects the market’s probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market efficiently incorporates new information as it becomes available, adjusting the odds based on trader activity and perceived value. This dynamic pricing allows for a fluid assessment of the potential results.
