The market resolves based on Kevin Gausman's official team affiliation status before August 5, 2026. If he signs with a specific team—whether as a free agent or through a new contract—the corresponding team market resolves to Yes. Staying with his current team at the resolution date also triggers a Yes for that team. If he retires or remains unsigned by the deadline, the "Retires / No Team" outcome resolves to Yes. Contract extensions or re-signings with the same team do not trigger early resolution. All transactions must be officially reported by the governing league or confirmed through formal retirement announcements by credible sources for the market to resolve.
